My name is James Golding and I have been a practising counsellor and hypnotherapist for more than 20 years with over 13 years in West Byfleet & Woking Surrey. With several years on Alexander ward at Woking Mental Health and Hillview Medical Centre, Heathside Road, Woking, Surrey as a clinical hypnotherapist and counsellor. With referrals from Counsellors, GP's, Surgeons and Psychiatrists in the Surrey area my caseload has ranged from weight loss and smoking cessation to Irritable Bowel Syndrome, (IBS), Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, (OCD's), preparation for anaesthesia and general anxieties. I offer a range of approaches including client-centred and psychodynamic counselling, NLP, EFT,EMDR, REBT (CBT) and clinical hypnotherapy.

Self Development
I have enjoyed my own journey of self-discovery over the last twenty years and continue to update my skills on a regular basis, with a personal commitment to my own therapy and supervision and the development of the Surrey College of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy www.sccphypnosis.com. As Principal I find change for myself and others an absorbing and exciting prospect allowing the development of new opportunities.

As a Service Provider for BUPA and Norwich Union you may be entitled to health care support through your insurance policy. However, you need to be referred through BUPA or via an N.U Consultant, this can be discussed during your initial consultation at either West Byfleet or Woking clinical hypnotherapy and counselling practices.
I work with both individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling people to enhance their lives and to live them more fully at either West Byfleet or Woking.
